To register for a domain name, you have two options:

1) Sign up for a Premium Tripod or Angelfire account, to receive a domain name free of charge.

2) Go to http://domains.lycos.com to purchase a domain name. A yearly fee of $19.95 applies for purchases on domain names.

A Lycos Domain is $19.95 per year, and billed automatically annually.

At the end of your year, you will receive a notice that you will be re-billed, for renewal of the domain name.

If you wish to not renew, you will need to turn off the "Auto renew" option, in your Domains account.

Lycos Domains members can use our online tool to retrieve a lost password.
